Good Mood

I am having a good mood for these few weeks :D
I'm not saying that I have been sad all this years, I'm trying to say that my spirits is high for these weeks.
I become very patient to my customer, even to the unreasonable one. Weird.
Is not because of reduced workload, for sure, because my colleague (contract worker) left us as her contract was not being renewed (sop sop), so now we are 3 person doing 4 person works, again. So how can my workload being reduced??
So is definately not because I'm having an easier job now.

I think Chinese New Year is one of the reason.
I will have a long holiday (due to forced leave also) for this coming CNY, some how I feel really happy with it. Not because of I'm going to meet anybody special, I guess is only because I can spend sometime at home with my parents and family.

I think what happens for the pass few months, mostly due to the world wide economy crisis, has big impact on me, do change my mindset a bit.
Company priority is "Sales Order" now. Boss is asking us to looks for more sales oppurtunity.
If this happen last year, I will sure start complain again: Technical support also need to do sales, then what our sales engineer going to do, we do everything but they got the comission, not fair not fair.
But now, I don't even complain and even start to think hard, how can I generate more sales? How can I smell any sales oppurtunity? How can I sell something when customer call in, even he is only asking for technical questions? How can I sell more when customer call in just want to buy a single thing? I'm so surprise, I become so passion. My brain always think of selling even though part of it still thinking about the technical request from customer.
I think this is also a way of staying positive.
Besides that, I guess the Agilent Sales Basics that I join recently, do help a bit. Is really just a bit, because, the training is about face-to-face selling. But at least I learnt that, when we are in an unusual era, we should do things DIFFERENTLY!
So I guess is time for me to try something new. Is not easy but is worth trying.
Anyway, bad economy time, when everything go slow, is also a good time to learn new things. So I'm trying new things and hope to pick up more soft skills.
I guess this boost up my spirit also. hehe

For sure this good mood will last until CNY, I will try to keep it until after CNY and as long as possible. Not only the good mood, the passion and the high spirit as well.
