昨天早上，扭开收音机，发觉《早点说马》的气氛变得很沉重。
一直以来，小马和小月的声音都是充满活力的，广东话说“好醒神！”
可是，昨天，他们两人一直呼吁听众多给意见，让《早点说马》做的更好。小月甚至哭了，还听到她的哭腔啊。当时，我想可能有人恶批《早点说马》，小月可能太伤心才有点失常了。
结果，回到公司上网才知道迦玛被抽取了，不能再主持节目，只因为他说太多！当时心想，我国又有好戏上演了，并希望迦玛可以重回电台。
今天早上，扭开收音机，《早点说马》没了，代班DJ说小马和小月“放假”去了。心想，情况不妙，如果真是放假，节目应该会照平常的编排方式、由其他DJ主持吧，怎么今天都只播歌、播广告？
果然，回到公司，一上FB才知道，《早点说马》被抽取，所有主持的DJ被令停职，两个节目总监也被停职，988DJ的FB也被关掉了！！！
原来，政治人物可以为了一己之利，剥夺人民的言论自由，让无辜的人丢失工作！:(
明福呀明福，现在是农历七月，黑心的我真希望你能化成厉鬼，为自己报仇，顺便把这些不知所谓的领袖，一并带走。让真正为国为民的领导人上台吧！（这一天会到来吗？）

Something to Ponder...
Yesterday, I attended a company training. Well, is called training, but it is a typical brainwashing seminar, to make sure employee will self-motivate, work harder and don't blame their boss if they don't have any self-development. :p
Haha, fortunate enough, the instructor is not bad, he is funny, make a boring topics into kind of interesting (at least I'm not falling asleep :). Besides, I did gain something from this "training", it did somehow enlighten me.
Let me share now. For a person who have been in a same position for a long time (means doing a same job for few years), he/she should try to do things better, challenging themselves. Unless he/she like the routine job so much, wake up every morning, feeling happy to do the same old things. then is fine because he/she is happy. But if this is not the case, then he/she should consider job-rotating and even internal transfer (But 1st of all, this person should have train up the skills needed for the other job). If that is not happening too, FIND a NEW JOB, haha (of course, the "new job" thing is from me, the instructor will not want the attendees resigning after attended his class, haha)
The instructor also mention that what we are doing should be something that could be listed into our resume. That's why when we are having our development plan or setting our objectives, it must meet SMARTR (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound, Real-work). Good point!
In the training, a manager is sharing her thought with us. She talked about the right attitude and positive thinking, which I really agree. However, there is one thing I ponder. She asked have you ever think about how your 80 years old birthday party will look like? She said what you want to see in the future, you should start to prepare now because what we do now will be refelcted in the future. I kind of agree and not agree.
Frankly speaking, I don't have any image of my 80 years old birthday party, is too far away! Would it mean, if I hope I got a husband, kids, grandchildren at my birthday party, I should get somebody to get married now!!?? No way. Should I image that my 80 years old birthday party full with friends only, because I'm single now?? I can't even imagine what will I be in 20 years time, 10 years and even 5 years time, not to mention 80 years old birthday party!! However, I know what I don't want to be. I will make necessary changes to make sure I don't become what I don't want to be, in 5 years, 10 years and 20 years, hehe. 活在当下，最重要！

Thank You
Just now I received a phone call from a very good friend, he say he want to say "thank you" to me. I was a bit surprise because I didn't remember I do anything that deserve that. So I asked for a reason, why did he say that? Then he replied, " Thanks for being a good colleague, good friend ..." I stunned for 2seconds after listen to that and asked him back "Have you been drinking?" This follow by a laughter, haha.
Actually, he was not drunk. He attended a motivation class this morning, inspired him to show appreciation (say thank you) to people that "help" him. Is my honour to receive this call. :)
"Thank you" such a simple word that we use everyday. However, when we want to say it to people that we really appreciate, such as parents, siblings, friends etc, it become so hard. When finally we have the guts to say it out, both parties feel awkward, although deep in their heart, they are happy. Is this Asian culture, which we don't simply show our feeling? Just like I still don't have the guts to give a hug to my parents!?

PIXAR: 20 Years of Animation
今天，走了一趟时光隧道，看到了Pixar这二十年在动画的辛路旅程。去过环球影城(Universal Studio)的朋友，应该记得其中一个最有趣的项目就是坐着巴士，参观影城，同时体验电影中的水灾、爆炸、地震，让游客仿佛走进了电影里面。Pixar Exibition，有异曲同工的效果，让我更了解动画片的制作。
其实，这个展览从4月就开始了，只是我在上周才知道，今天是最后一天，庆幸我没错过:)
还好我们去得早，不至于太多人，中午时分人多了好多，哈哈，那时我们已经要离开噜。
一部动画片，基本上从故事开始。有了故事，就塑造人物，从平面到立体，种种细节都考虑在内，为求逼真。人物的脸部表情、言行举止、毛发的飘动、一举手、一投足，都一一画出来，甚至还用黏土、陶瓷做成模型。故事背景也非常细腻，比如说，同一片叶子，在不同的季节，应该要有不同的颜色；故事中角色的住所要如何设计，以符合性格，等等。
这个展览，展示了很多动画家的手稿。走进展览厅，简直就是动画片大复习：Toy Story, Bug's Life, Monster Inc., Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Cars, Ratatouille, Wall-E and Up. 熟悉的人物，熟悉的背景，很开心喔，就像重新再看这些动画片 :)
展览中，最令人印像深刻的，就是Zoetrope。这是个很神奇的东西。基本上，是由很多个，同一个人物的模型所组成，这些人物的表情、动作是带连贯性的。就是动画片的原理，把人物的动作分解成几个图片，只要快速的翻阅这些图片，人物就会动起来了。Zoetrope只是把2D的图片变成3D的模型，把这些模型排成圈圈，然后快速的旋转。配合闪烁的灯光，灯光亮时，人类的眼睛就把其中一个模型记入脑中，然后灯光一暗，模型旋转到下一个模样，当灯光再亮时，人类的眼睛又把这个模型摄入脑中，当旋转的频率，配合灯光闪烁的频率，人物就动起来了。虽然知道，这是我们的眼睛欺骗了我们，但是当模型动起来那一刻，还是又惊又喜的！很激动！我把展览会中的原文解释，一一记载。

The zoetrope, which can be translated as "wheel of life" Was a popular form of late-nineteenth-century home entertainment and demonstrated the basic principles of animation before the invention of cinema.
Using characters from Toy Story and Toy Story 2, the Toy Story Zoetrope is rooted in an eighteen frame cycle. Each frame of the cycle is represented by a three-dimensional character figurine, or "maquette".
These figurines are mounted at precise points on the disk, which spins at the speed of one revolution per second. A strobe light triggering on each frame freezes the motion, enabling the human eye to perceive the character's motion as a single image. When the eye sees a number of these frozen images in quick succession, the effect of "apparent motion" strings them together to create the illusion of a fluid motion.
This Toy Story Zoetrope was inspired by the three-dimensional "Bouncing Totoro" Zoetrope created by our friends at Ghibli Museum in Mitaka Park, Tokyo, Japan.]

Durian Fiesta 2010
I am a durian fans. When I was in Penang, during durian season, all of us, the durian kakis, have durian almost every weekend. Sometimes, durian was my dinner, haha crazy right? Sigh, kind of missed those days :)
After move to Singapore, those become memories, I'm craving for ang hea (红虾) every year, hehe. Actually, a lot of my friends had told me that, durian dessert in Goodwood Park Hotel is the best in Singapore, I should give a try.
This year, my aunt who is also a durian fans, decide to celebrate her birthday with durian fiesta, hehe, is a good choice, no doubt :)
Besides durian desserts, we ordered cappucino and latte, let's take a look.
What do you think? Nicely serve right? The most special is brown sugar stick. I thought using brown sugar is also something unique about them, then I realise they served (ordinary) sugar stick also, haha, to kids :)
Ok, back to durian desserts:
1) Durian Mousse Cake ($8.50/slice)
This is the legendary durian mousse cake, we must give a try, don't you think so? Well, is kind of disappointed, as the durian paste is not rich enough. But the cake is nice, soft and melt in my mouth. Take a look at the picture, those cubes on top are cakes :)
2) Mini Durianmisu ($4.80)
Combination of durian and tiramisu, no worry, this is a no alcohol version. Chef is professional, of course he knows durian and alcohol is not a good combination :) If you think the strong durian taste will cover the coffee taste, then you are wrong. These two flavour mix along so well, such a great combination :)
3) Durian Puff ($2.20)
The signature durian puff, yes, this is the best. Creamy and rich, remind me of ang hea, yum yum. I love this so much, that's why this is an all time favourite. Those who love strong durian, like me, must give it a try! An advice from me, take the durian puff as your last dessert, else make sure, you "clean" your mouth before you take other dessert. If not the strong durian flavour from the puff will mislead you. You might think the other dessert is not as nice. If you happen to order dessert as what we did, you can consider having them according to the order I introduce them, hehe, this can make sure you get the real taste :)
If you notice, some of the pictures are not taken by me. Yup, I totally forgot about taking picture when the desserts were served, haha, so I dig some photo from the web :p Beside the dessert, we ordered a chicken masala pie as well. It costed us $4 but its really worth the price. It was not too spicy, chicken were tender and pastry were crispy. A salty dish after sweet desserts is always a good choice :)

平凡就是幸福

因为平凡也是一种幸福”
有在听988“ B咖讨生活”的朋友，应该对这几句很熟悉吧。
对呀，就是“小人物的心声”里面的经典歌词。
最近，两位B咖把这首歌改了改，变成“B咖讨生活”的主题曲，挺有意思的。
一直以来，我都觉得生活简简单单就好。
只是，社会越进步，事情变得越不简单。
周遭的人，越来越喜欢埋怨、互相比较。
埋怨工作辛苦、钱不够用。
比较谁的钱多、谁的车大。
小孩才几个月大，父母就开始比较。
只是，当我们在埋怨生活不够富裕的时候，就有人只希望可以吃一碗白饭。
有人只希望可以自己站起来。有人只希望他的孩子可以正常的成长。
知足常乐，平凡是幸福。
只要生活充实，日子过得开开心心，平凡一点有什么不好呢？

这门艺术
我要学化妆！！！
曾几何时，我对化妆，嗤之以鼻。
不相信，把不同颜料涂在脸上会是漂亮的。
但是，最近发现，高超的化妆技术，原来可以把一个人的美，完全呈现。
现在流行的裸妆，更是讲求自然，让人觉得你本来就这么亮丽，一点都看不出你化了妆，赞！
当天生丽质不能再使用，只得靠一点辅助了，呵呵。
现在来看一下这些照片。

这只是，非常小儿科啊，化妆这一科的宝宝班吧。
还有许多许多要学耶。
怎么把两边脸、两只眼，化平衡？不匹配，化成一致？
怎么选化妆品？颜色？品牌？类型？
上妆的技巧、方式、手法、次序？
怎么维持妆持久？怎么补妆？
怎么避重就轻、以长补短？
太多要学了。简直是一门学问、一门艺术。
所以，我要学化妆！

这些日子以来-张清芳 范怡文
最近在“百万大歌星”看到这位歌手，范怡文。
她和哈林谈话间像老朋友，也一直说他们是同期的歌手。
但我对这女歌手怎么没有印象，再想她可能是台语歌手吧。
只是，当她开始唱歌时，她的声音有了熟悉的感觉，可是，一直没有办法想起她是谁。
直到这首歌的出现--这些日子以来。原来，她就是当年和张清芳合唱的那个女生。
挺喜欢这首歌的，这么多年一直不认识她。
所以我相信缘分。不管是人、事、物，只要缘分到，他就会奔向你。
张清芳也很久没有唱歌了。结婚后，相夫教子吧！？
待我考完试，再好好认识范怡文。:)

Body Worlds
On 16 Jan, I went to "Gunther von Hagens' Body World & The Cycle of Life" at Singapore Science Center. This is a very special exhibition because the show piece are authentic human specimens! Yes, I'm taking about dead body that is transform into an art that is now shown in this exhibition :) If I have not taken the course named Anatomy & Physiologies, I will not have appreciate and enjoy this exhibition as much as I do now. Those who interested with human body should not missed this exhibition.
The display items range from embryo, fetus, child's skeleton, to adult muscle, ligament, skeleton, all the internal organ inclusing brains, blood vessels, nerve system and animals specimens. Gunther von Hagen using a technique called plastination, invented by himself, to transform the dead body into portrait in different post. There are portrait, post like a painter, a taichi master, in a sitting and thinking positioan, playing basketball, doing gymnastic etc. You must be wondering how could the dead body post in this way, those human couldn't have die in that position, right? That's true, the magic happen during the last stage of plastination, where the dead body will be position into different post. The whole process of plastination take up at least 1500 hours, some even take up to 1 year! Among those specimens, I like the "Man holding his own skin". It is a human body without skin (with muscle, ligament) standing in fornt of you with 1 hand holding his own skins. The other one that I like is the "Standing Woman", giving me a chance to see the position of the internal organ inside my body :p I must talk about the "Tai Chi Master", because from this portrait, you can see all kind of implant that can be installed to human. With all those implant, this human is a human or robot? Besides that, there are also cross sectional view of our body. The most impression is the midsagittal section of a healthy person vs an obese. You can find "FAT" everywhere (yuck). Another good things about this exhibition is there are labels on the specimen, so that the visitor know what are they seeing. The other one is the transverse section of a non-smoker vs smoker, yup, you can see the black colour lung. Besides that, there are also, stomach with ulcer, uterus with myoma, brain with hemorrage etc. Is the comparison that I like :)
Lastly, is the animal specimen. There are horse, raindeer, giraffe (yes is huge), gaint squid, etc. Besides tha giraffe potrait, there are also cross-section view of giraffe. It is not a single cross section, but Gunther actually chopped the giraffe into hundreds of thin slice, impressive right? I hope the organiser will allow photographying in the exhibition, then I can illusatrate better to you all. Picture always speak louder than word. Unfortunately, no photo allow, too bad. Again I want to recommend to anybody who interested with human body, is really worth the entrance fee that you pay. If you are a passion card member, remember to bring along, as there is a $4 discount :)
I spents about 2hours for this exhibition. I did visit to another anatomy exhibition later that day, haha, is called The Body Show at Clarke Quey. I will write about it in next post.
